Green Cleaning Products

Cleaning products protect the health of our homes, schools, and workplaces. Ironically, however, most cleaning products do not protect human health, and in fact can cause long-lasting harm. Green cleaning means using cleaning procedures and products that protect the environment, while promoting the health of people.

What's So Toxic About Cleaning?

Many cleaning supplies and household products can irritate the eyes and throat, as well as cause headaches and brain fog. Toxic cleaning chemicals can cause chronic health conditions as well, such as thyroid imbalances, infertility, metabolic syndrome, cognitive symptoms, and even cancer.

Harmful ingredients include ammonia, bleach, and various solvents. Even chemicals with a fragrance produce dangerous indoor pollutants that are harmful when inhaled.

Some products release volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

VOCs, among other chemicals, contribute to chronic respiratory problems, allergic reactions and headaches. They are especially harmful for those with asthma or other respiratory illnesses.

VOCs are found in aerosol sprays, air fresheners, dry cleaning chemicals, upholstery cleaners, furniture polish, and more.

We Keep It Clean Without Toxins

At Quality Maintenance, we aim to lower the health hazards associated with conventional cleaning products. Our trained crew uses high quality, eco-friendly products to protect you and your employees from chemical exposure and poor indoor air quality.

We ensure the effectiveness of our clean by using products that carry the Safer Choice Label or are Green Certified by the Green Clean Institute.

Additionally, we minimize our contribution to landfills by using washable cleaning cloths instead of paper towels, sanitizing and reusing spray bottles, and purchasing cleaning products in bulk.
